Teen Workshop
Dance and Resistance with Ahmed Hamad
About
Meet new people, talk about art, make art, and have fun at a workshop led by Chicago artists and hosted by the MCA's Teen Creative Agency.
How can dance be a form of resistance to political oppression? Learn traditional Palestinian folk dance and create a collaborative sound piece and video with artist and activist Ahmad Hamad, inspired by the exhibition Doris Salcedo.
This is one of three workshops for high school students offered by the MCA during CPS Spring Break 2015. Sign up to attend one or request to attend them all.
