MCA Studio: Blair Thomas & Co., Moby Dick

Blair Thomas is building his epic project, a stark and moving retelling of Herman Melville's Moby-Dick, with an all-male crew of collaborators and performers. At this special work-in-progress showing and talk, Thomas is joined by master puppeteer Michael Montenegro, singer-songwriter Michael Smith, and percussionist-composer Michael Zerang.

Moby Dick premieres at MCA Stage April 1–3, 2016, and is a project of the New Works Initiative, which provides commissioning support and a production design residency this summer.
