Announcement

Free for Circle, DVC, Trustees, and VIP guests

Exclusively for Circle Donors and Above

Join curators, artists, and fellow supporters for a reception and first look at the MCA's newest exhibition Direct Message: Art, Language, and Power.

This exhibition explores four approaches that artists across generations have used to interrogate the way language and media shape our experience and understanding of the world. Divided into thematic sections—Remove, Review, Reframe, and Recode—Direct Message addresses the complex relationship between modes of communication and power.

Kindly RSVP by Friday, October 18, 2019 by contacting 312-397-4044 or CircleRSVP@mcachicago.org.
