Los Angeles-based artist Caycedo's work compels viewers to question inequities of environmental justice, solidarity economies, and housing as a human right through video, sculpture, and performance. The artist's interdisciplinary practice will be the subject of the forthcoming exhibition, Carolina Caycedo: From the Bottom of the River, surveying the last ten year of Caycedo's career.
This virtual studio visit is organized by Marilyn and Larry Fields Curator Carla Acevedo-Yates with the Performance and Public Practice team.
